The maker told me the 3hp would take up to 2000 rms its d2. The a7hc(high current) is very efficient and puts out 1500 rms @ 1 ohm. I dont blast my bass and the sub plays like when I first got it. Sounded better than my old icon and idmax by FAR. As well as the cadence a7hc.
