Item(s) for Sale: I have two TC Sounds TC1000's with the TC2+ motors. I believe they were rated either 500 or 600 watts rms. I cant remember for sure.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

They are both blown, but Thilo has the parts to repair them. One has a 4 spoke basket and the other has a 12 spoke basket. Was planning on using them for my home theater project, but unsuspected finance came up, so I may have to part with one or the both of them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I really wanted two of these 12's in my house since they are absolutely great for HT and car systems

Price:

$80 shipped each

Thank you. They are indeed. I really dont want to get rid of them. But I havent even started on my box build with a plate amp or even send the subs off to get re-conned. They need a good home. Someone who will take good care of these.

Ok, maybe its 400wrms. I was running both of these on my JBL BP1200.1 which does around 1400 watts. I ran it like that for 3 years, no problems. Problem: Blew the subs when the screws in my downfiring box came loose. Let my cousin borrow my truck for the weekend, I forgot to put the new wood screws in. He turned the stereo up and poof.

Here is Thilo's email address. He's a great guy. He has been all over the world last time I spoke with him and he was emailing me back from the whole other side of the hemisphere. Emailing me from a new country every time.

Thlio Stompler: tstomp@gmail.com

He gave me a cost of $90 to recone each sub.
