I just went on the TC site and it says the markup will happen on the 23rd, so I was interested in them already, does anyone think it would be a good idea to get a tc2000 15 or 3000 for the hell of it right now at the normal price? I suppose it would have greater resale value if I dont like it later or something comes up.

if they go the RE route then i think they'll only mark up direct pricing and the dealers should be able to sell it for around the same price. This is my guess....actually, my hope. But i'd say get it for the hell of it, unless u can find them for cheaper in the classifieds

yay only 4 more days til i get to sell my BNIB 15" TC-3k.....for like 800 freakin dollars.

aight besides that point.....there's no way in hell ill pay 500+ for a tc-2k.....sry but i can get so much more crap for that kind of money. hell at the rate they're talkin about...they might even top JL on prices. fact of the matter is....they're a SMALL company. sure they do OEM stuff and sell to big name people (ie. Coldplay, Mellencamp, etc).....but their focus is to now get into the retail game from my understanding. when no one knows who you are (read: anybody not on forums), then why the heck would they wanna pony up 700 bucks for a tc-3k....which to them is some unknown brand.

id never heard of the company until 2 months ago when i was introduced by djdillodion. since then ive been through hell and back with their customer service dept and will NEVER even think about ordering from them again, regardless of the price they sell their stuff at. now 30-50% was reasonable, but good luck with 50-100%.....haha a tc-1k 8" for 225-300 bucks.....yeah fvckin right. what a load of shlt. congrats TC on alienating your customer base. serves you right in my mind with what youve put me through. say bye bye to your sales.

Might as well, those woofers are excellent for the price right now, and as you said, you can always sell it for profit in the future with the mark ups

Well if you dumbshmucks don't buy the subs and don't support their prices then they will have to make changes.

Kinda makes you wonder... If they could sell them for so cheap before are they going to increase quality and parts that much to be mainstream? **** no.

They have to price their shit comparable to what else is on the market when dealing with going "main stream"

The bad thing about going retail is that most of the time the price increases while the quality decreases so they make more profit.

I hope this is not the case for TC but it was what made me not go with RE. After hearing RE was bought by USAMPS I didn't trust the build quality. Oh well after seeing Fi and talking to some people I'm glad I didn't go with either.
