TC comparison

Im torn between the tc-3000 and the lms-4000. Im looking for a good sql sub. The things i like about the 3000 is the quad voice coils and power handeling. The lms has completly linear motor structure. So i was wondering which would be louder. Another question i heard was that you have to build a difficult box for the lms for some reason. So any help would be really thankful and dont thrash me if I messed something up.

I'm pretty sure lms do best sealed(easiest enclosure).

Tc3000 would prolly have the potential to be louder.

Have you asked this ? on their forum?

go with a tc 3000....they are nice sql drivers..LMS 4000 are hard to power due to the coil config available..

The TC3000 is a sweet sub by the specs, but I would love to try out the LMS-4100 when it comes out.
