Actually those problems with the surrounds were totally unrelated to the failure of the t-joints.

Im not talking about the surround issues, I mean your video of the cone deforming.
I dont remember much about what happened with the surround thing tbh.

As good as your intentions may be, what you are asking a mod to do would likely get him removed from the position.

And frankly, if you are worried about a little publicity like this bringing in competitors you cant afford to bid against, you probably cant afford these purchases at all.

Oh, nah I never experienced any surround issues at all, the sprite thing was about the surrounds mostly. For what its worth, the titanium cones didnt seperate from the t-joints near as bad, but did suffer from folding and what some people have called "voice coil tattoo", shown below.

I've called it former stamp...never heard of voice coil tattoo, though.

If you're interested in buying the patents, you should be aware of the various situations surrounding them; but for the time being, there are already a few interested parties.
