Im not the master about port box specs but thats why you have hundreds of guys here to answer that. When i was asking around on this forum about how big the port should be i got the general answer of at 36 inches in area.

Didn't want to clutter the board with a new thread so I'll ask this here.

What do you guys think about a TC-3000 run off a Sundown 1500D at .35 ohms in a medium size sealed box? Would the Sundown handle that or would I have to wire it to 1.4?

i hear its cutting it but as long as you got a good electrical system and a spare battery, that you should be ok...and with impedance rise or whatever, that it should go up to like .5 or something like that...i don't remember exactly...

theres a good thread about that at ssa...

i think wiring it to 1.4 would be a waste of a good amp and a good sub...

This thing is wicked. I've only been playing with it for the last hour or so, but this thing is powerful! I need to mess around with the settings on my amp and set the gain, but this thing was shaking the entire house when i was just checking it out.
