Recently, you may have received a letter from the IRS advising you when to expect your Economic Stimulus Payment (rebate). That IRS letter may have inadvertently left off some important information. Taxpayers who chose to have their tax preparation fees deducted from their federal tax refund will receive their tax rebate in the mail, not via direct deposit.

This is some crap. I was supposed to get mine today and big shock, no deposit. But I did have my tax prep fees deducted from my return also, But so did my GF and she had hers deposited last week.

mine was deposited friday 300 dollars short but we got a letter saying that they missed our child earned income credit and a check for 300 dollars will be shipped out in july, it said over 350 thousand people were cut short. I guess Jackson Hewitt software ftl.

i take it im not gettting mine. was supposed to come out the week of the 9th. i dont remember getting 2 letters i only think i recieved the 1st stating i should get one. i know of a few people who have gotten theres, this suks i could as most use some cash.

Just got my check...unfortunately I just dropped 3 bills at knukonceptz and 550 for a new deck so its beyond spent already. Also ordered up some batteries from "batteries asap"....they called after I ordered to say they were backordered and wouldn't be here "asap" :lol:

for some reason i checked the irs.gov site again, for some odd reason. well, guess what it said..

Your total Stimulus payment was calculated as $300.00 and consists of the following:

Basic Amount: $300.00.

Qualifying Child Amount: $0.00 (Based on 0 qualifying children).

Your payment of $300.00 is scheduled to be mailed on June 13, 2008. If you do not receive the check by July 11, 2008, please contact us again. For information about how to file a claim because you have not received your check, or it was lost, stolen, or destroyed, please continue.

Your Stimulus payment was reduced based on your 2007 qualifying income, or it was limited to the amount of your 2007 Net Income Tax Liability.

Funniest thing is i was supposed to have this on the 9th of last month. now dont get me wrong im not complaining, just an update for those who may have not recieved theirs.

NOW the big question, how do i spend it. im thinking about treating my car to a tune-up and a full tank of gas....lol
