Did anyone get anctual check? I got one today for $300 and at the top it says overtax refund. Turbotax said I qualified for $600 and I was getting a $80 refund

why, apparently you don't think it is as bad as it is - you can probably get a 500% return if you bet it in Vegas that if McCain gets in office there will be four more years of this fiscal irresponsibility and will get us that much closer to a depression. WTG GOP!!!!

You guys know that the government isn't actually giving you any money. Its your money from next years tax return.

exactly and you will have to claim it as additional and get taxed on it in addition to your yearly earnings, the sad thing is that by then the dollar would have depreciated even more and you will have had to earn an additional .35cents to every dollar to pay for it, so if you don't expect a raise or salary increase either invest it or pay your down your debt and recession-proof yourself

you should, you need to call INS not IRS- make sure to give them your address and the best time to contact you in person

Actually I think I'll stick with the 600 bucks of booze, that way when a democrat takes the office and starts giving my money away as huge tax based programs I can drink away my worries. When I start having liver and other problems from the booze I will just jump on the Hillary or Obama nationalized healthcare plan and start costing other tax payers money....yay
