Tattoo artist sued for inking dung instead of Narnia

While I find it amusing too, I guess I'll be the stick in the mud that mentions that even if she did cheat on him, permanently disfiguring her body like that is way way way over the line, and he should be punished to the full extent of the law. At the very least, she should win her lawsuit, and he should be barred from ever tattooing another human being for the rest of his life. Inexcusable act of immaturity with life-long consequences. The guy is a moron if nothing else, for not realizing he would get sued for big bucks and probably go to jail over his little bright idea. I hope his few hours of laughing about it was worth negatively affecting the lives of two people forever.
1. its not permanent I see no reds or whites which are hard to remove

2. her case is going to sound fishy as all can be.. that is a BIG piece it would take a while to do.. for her to SLEEP through most of it/all is complete crap.. she would have gotten up and probably looked at it..

3. without having a consented upon image and just a free roam for the artist he can claim his artistic opinion of the movie was a steaming pile of well you know.. and therefore he drew such

1. So I guess you wouldn't mind a completely embarrassing tattoo inked across your entire back, so long as its only in brown?

2. I think its obvious my comments were assuming her story is true. If she actually agreed to that tatt, well you can ignore everything I said. But I find that extremely unlikely.

3. You are arguing legal technicalities, I was talking about what is right and what is wrong. Im no lawyer, and I doubt you are either, so I dont see much point arguing about whether or not his lawyer will make it possible for this guy to sleaze his way out of this.

I would never trust someone I cheated on with anything that is body altering.. even just temporarily..

Was it wrong sure.. He should have just done it in sharpie as I can imagine at a minimum he will eat the removal fees..

He's going to eat a lot more than removal fees. This is the type of lawsuit that awards big money for 'pain and suffering'. As for trusting the guy, obviously she didnt know he knew, and even if she did... he is/was a professional tattooist and that alone should be enough to trust he will do a reasonable job. But she couldnt trust him, which is why I said at the very least one of the consequences of this should be he is never allowed to tattoo anyone ever again. It would be a like a banker being caught committing fraud, a lawyer paying off a witness, or a doctor knowingly practicing bad medicine/ethics. Tattooing is a pretty serious thing, you dont just go home and wash it off, nor is professional removal quick, painless, or a sure thing.

I disagree he should have done it in sharpie. If he found out his g/f was cheating on him, and that bothered him, he should have been a man and addressed the problem directly. Getting her drunk and then tattooing a turd on her back? Childish, petty, and with absolutely no concern for the consequences. I think its pretty clear this guy has some mental issues.

She is a dirty ***** and now must wear this like a scarlet letter. Fair in my book and a fair warning to the next guy that she'll do him dirty with his best friend. This guy is my hero

Maybe your mistake was assuming I put my personality out here on ca.com.

Haha thats pretty funny, but fucked up to do. She shouldn't have been cheating on him nor should she have gotten super drunk before the tatoo. I don't like cheaters so I say she got what she deserved...

She signed a consent but it's her fault if she didn't read it.

All though the lulz were great, I do agree with audioholic on this one. I think it is uncalled for and unprofessional. At least he could have handled it differently. I can think of plenty of things that would have been great per that situation that would not have been so dramatic and careless..

Regardless of that lulz were still had.

Is that like laughing at the Special Olympics or is it not that bad..but still bad?

think about that though...how often does something "professional" come out of a trailer park...being a strong believer in being faithful to a partner i think regardless of how extreme this was that consequences are consequences. that being said i still think its funny audioholic still has developed a very bland sense of humor since becoming a mod and the special olympics will always comical. god wanted it that way
