Tape Head won't work...

I've tried every available tape I can find. I also tried to put a tape head cleaner (form of a tape) in to clean it, it reads it like a normal tape, and then automatically eject out.

I'm trying to get the tape head working because I have a tape adapter for my mp3.

the reason why i want to fix this is so i can use a tape adapter for my mp3 player - that way i dont have to burn the mp3 out to cds everytime i wanna listen to it

ps. dont have money to upgrade the car, might have some for miscellenious stuffs

Playing low resolution MP3's through a tape head adapter OMG through stock speakers! Yikes! It must be horrid. You should be able to get a cheap CD player for $50 or less used I would think.

i honestly dont even remember how tape decks work..

ur best bet is to just get a new cheap deck with aux inputs and you can hook ur mp3 player up through that

i remember those tape adapters breaking or messing up all the time too

well i just went and got a JVC for $220 (not including tax, included service)

and that fixed the speaker problem ^_^

cheap aux in - cheap is how much really?
