tantrum or vangogh?

Ok Ive narrowed my amp search down. Im either going to get a tantrum 1200.1 or a soundstream van gogh 800.2. This amp is going to power two Oz audio ME 10s. Tel mee what you guys think, and please stick to talking about these two amps or it will make it even harder for me to buy one.

just keep the gains and volume down. Too much power comes from improper(sp?) settings and abuse of volume. yes putting 1500+watts to a 150 watt sun might be to much power but if your in the same ball park and smart u will be ok.

Tantrum. I had one, packs loads of power, never got hot. Great amp.

I have the VanGogh, I love it. I'm running 2 MB Quart 12's at 400rms a piece and it definately overpowers them like nothing and barely gets warm, and without a cap. Never saw/heard the tantrum. Your OZ's run about 500rms from what I have found, the vangogh could probably handle it, it's pretty mean. I don't know what the Tantrum's story is so I can't really answer your question. I can just say that the vangogh would most likely be a good choice.

having owned a VanGogh, I'd say go with the Tantrum! IMO the last of the great PG amps
