Someome please clue me in. Working on putting together a decent sounding system in a 4 door canyon. Looking to go cheap on subs. Putting $ toward 6.5 components, amp, and deading. Looking for suggestion on what to go with. Possibilities are slim 10", 2 standard 8" or one larger 8" such as CT Sounds Strato. Suggestions welcome.

My bass requirements are not much. An ok $50 10" set up correctly would prob be enough. That said i have considered the sd-3 10". Its just the more i spend on a sub makes me wonder if i will go cheaper on components and deading. I haven't had amped component speakers since the 90's. Really considering just buying $30 sub and putting upgrading it till box, amps, deading, speakers are done.
