okay so today i was driving to work and all of the sudden the bass stops and it was the amp. So wen i get home i check the amp and sure enough the power light isnt on and it has to do with the remote wire wen i took it out and pushed it back in the three lights would flash then nothing none of them would be on? what can this be i checked all connections and they appeared good! what are my options ?

Learn proper grammar first of all...

Sounds like you blew your amp...it would help to know what your running...

Doesn't appear that your gettin much help here...

Let me see, first off I would check all your fuses, check the main 12v+ fuse, if it is blew check your power wire for any ***** spots, bad connections, etc. that could lead to a dead short. If you find nothing here, move on to the next possibility. Check the ground, make sure it has not come loose. If all is good here trace down the remote wire from the hu to the amp, look for any broke spots or crimps in the wire. A quick but risky way to check and see if it is indeed your remote wire causing the issue is to take a piece of wire and use as a jumper, touch one side of the wire to the pos. terminal on amp, touch the other to the remote terminal on the amp, see if this gives you juice. If none of the above solutions helps you, its possible that you may have a fried amp. Before you throw it in the dumpster see if you can locate another working amp to hook up to your existing wires, see if it functions, if not than more than likely you still have wiring issues. Instead of spending days tracing down dead ends, just re-wire your amp. Hope I have helped!
