t10001bd strappable?

Well I currently have 2 t10001bd's birthed at about 1600 a piece. They were more than enough power for my sx's but now i have 2 2006 XXX 12's and want more power. I was thinking about just adding on 2 more t10001bd's but was wondering if i can strap them to get a 1 ohm impedance on each sub since they are dual 2's

Even if they are strappable (I don't know off hand), you wouldn't want to run the strapped pair into a 1ohm load, as that'd be a .5ohm load on each amplifier, which is below their rated stability. Strapped the lowest you could go would be a 2ohm load.

yes, they are strappable..

each amp will see .6dcr. With rise, you should be fine...id strap the pair you have to one of the subs and beat on it for a few days to see if the amps are okay with it before i went out and bought the other 2...

id stick with the 1000's if they'll work rather than going through the bs of selling/buying again..

What's the DCR of each coil? If these subwoofers are "normal" the DCR should be lower than 1ohm in parallel, which would make it lower than .5ohm per amp.

Also, if you do run another two...you're going to be needed to seriously upgrade your electrical system. That yellow top and 40F cap in your sig are not going to handle 6kw+ of power.

in the 05 line, the "dual 2" was a 2.6dcr
