yes..drill a hole big enough for the t-nut to go in very snug...put the bolt/or whatever youre using in with a washer and tighten it till the t-nut fully seats...

they do sell them at home depot, i got mine from there. They are easy to install took me about 5min and they work great.

although...a percosionary warning, do not over tighten the bolt that will be going inside teh t-nut...because if you tear teh threads....they are dam near impossible to get out...

what are you using them for? mounting a sub?

im not 100% but, i think i used some 7/16" stainless hex bolts last time..just whatever looks to not be all bitchmade lol
