T.m.a???

Well, i went to the local audio shop to see what they had with about 500rms mono @ 2ohm. They showed me an amp that looked decent i think was called T.M.A and the letters stood for something and the dude working at the moment said that jl owns this company. I am trying to search such brand but am not sure that is the correct name. Anyone ever heard of such brand or anything close owned by jl?

Had a friend borrow my cheap TMA T500.1 and T360.2 for an install. I picked them up cheap from the JL rep just to try them out. The T500.1 is surprisingly a decent amp for what it is. Powered an RE SE12 very nicely. The T360.2 is an aweful amp, comparable to any other flea market piece of junk out there.

i love the tma 500.1, its a decent price for someone that doesnt have a lot of money, and it powers my 2 kickers well

well what did you guys pay for the t500.1? my shop is asking 220 including taxes with a pretty good waranty. i will be powering my idq with it only need 350 but i will put 400-450 to it sealed. I am just trying to find out if this shop is ripping me off because thier prices are normally extremely high

**** you are one hostile individual. He was just asking if anyone knows what they usually go for brand new. You bring up more questions than you answer.

budahbuddy803, it looks like your shop is giving you about the average price. They seem to be going for around 200, + or - a few dollars.
