i can't sleep
I finished stage 1 of my system. Stage 1=center consol, deck, speakers, speaker pods, speaker amp, deadening, and wiring. (Stage 1=subs and everything that comes with that, coming summer 2005 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ).
HU=Pioneer DEH-P2600 shitty deck
Speakers=Alpine Typr-R 6.5" components
Amp=Soundstream RUB300.2 300w rms 2-ch
Riding shotgun:
Closup of center consol (finally finished):
Speakers in the door pod thingy's:
Driver's side view:
Outside view:
I think everything looks and sounds fantastic. The speakers are getting 75w each and they get too loud before any distortion. I'm really happy with the tweets, they sound awsome except for really high levels but that's expected. The woofers sound good most of the time but i get some weird vibrations on some notes, that's prolly my fault though.
The deck is from my old sytom in my last car, I'm getting an apline I think next. It has no sub output and is missing some other features I want. It does the job though just fine, but it's only an entry model deck. I going to add a couple more layers of paint on top of the concol as soon as I find the time, I was just a little rushed, but I do like the look better than it was.
So tell me what you think.
