All,
I am getting ready to pull the trigger for a system for my 98 5.9 Jeep. Here is what I'm thinking (2 options):
Option A:
Alpine iDA-X305 head unit
steering wheel controls
Focal 165 A1 front speakers
JL TR650CXI rear speakers
Alpine KCE-400BT Bluetooth
Alpine KCA-SC100 Sat
Sirius SCC1 Sat
Alpine PDX 5-channel amp
JL Stealthbox sub
Option B:
Kenwood KDC-X994 head unit
steering wheel controls
Focal 165 A1 front speakers
JL TR650CXI rear speakers
Kenwood KCA-SR50 Sat
Sirius SCC1 Sat
Alpine PDX 5-channel amp
JL Stealthbox sub
I'm not that concerned about having a CD player, but want an excellent iPod experience, plus ability to run AUX and USB devices. Leaning towards Alpine due to nicer display. I also want to be able to see channel, artist, song, etc. with Sirius on a single screen without scrolling.
Each about 2500 installed.
