sx vs hdc3 12

alright which sub should i get the sx or the hdc3. yes there both rated at 1000rms but which could handle more abuse. i plan on getting 2, also for either what tuning should the box be in. I have a box tuned at 32hz right now, so would that work? also would the aq 2200d work fine with both. but i kinda want to send around 1200 -1500rms to each so ya

i had the hdc3 15" it pounded pretty **** hard. i would go with it

im leaning towards the AQ i was going to get 15s but my trunk is to small. but ya im just curious of what others think. just want to see how they are comparable

anyone that possibly had both of these setups at a certain time? if so how were they different

The hdc3's will want alot more power than the sx's I hear. Can easily put a 2200d to each hdc, whereas on the sx's, I'd only feel safe with one on two subs.

Hdc3's will want a higher tuned box (38-42 I hear) to sound good, whereas the sx's I assume will be more like me se's, and like a low 30's tuned box.

All in all, I'm betting the hdc3's will get a bit louder than the sx's, but they'll want more power, and a higher tuned box.
