this.. get a sub that u can push past its rated rms.. example: like a 800 rms rated sub.. throw the 1200 at it. boom loud

Because in this case the china sub will hand the sx its azz..also if he gets the alum coil, the softparts aren't china...

I ran my aluminum HDC315 with aluminum coils off of a JBL BP1200.1 and it sounded nice. Got real loud and low for only 1200 watts. Now its got a SAZ3000D on it:crazy:

I love how everyone thinks tht the SX will get destroyed on 1200 watts compared to the HDC3.

The SX is quite the capable sub and will get loud and sound good with tht power, not saying the HDC3 wont.

No one ever said it would get destroyed off 1200 watts.. It will definately hold its own off 1200 watts, but for roughly the same price, why not buy a better, much more capable product? That is the only point I am getting at..

I'm thinking of just going with the SX. Unless you can prove to me that the HDC3 is more musical than the SX.

Either way, both subs would be fine off that power, though the HDC3 can take more.

The sx sounds no better than the hdc.. Not sure where you heard that from. They dont sound bad at all..

I've always heard that the HDC was more towards SPL and wasn't as musical and had SQ like the SX does.
