Hi.. I have had a stock stereo for about 6 years now..
I purchased what I hope to be a complete upgrade after cracking the speakers in my 323is BMW.
I think I got a pretty good complete system.. but I wanted to ask a question on the sub....
HU - Alpine CDA-9855
K4201 adapter (for ipod)
Amp1- Alpine MRV-F345 75 watts 4ohms. This will be powering some T152 Fosgate component speakers as well as 2 Frasier 2way speakers in the back. Dynamate around all 4 of these..
Amp2- Alpine MRD-M1005 1000 watts mono
The second amp.. Right now.. because I am trying to get it all in and save a bit of money.. I am going with a SWR-1222D and adding a second next month after I get paid.. the 1000 watt sub run in parallel probably. Trunk space is also a concern for me.
My plan was to scrap the single speaker box next month, get the dual speaker box and add the second sub.. To pretty much complete my system and I dont think I will be adding on.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but I am bit by the old stereo bug so WHO knows.. My question is.. am I better off.. considering space, quality and bang for the buck.. to maybe go with a bit bigger box and a single SWX-1242D. Either consideration would be in a sealed box.
