I have a 2003 XL7. Recently purchased a double din sterio to replace the p.o.s. factory, but have run into a problem. The factory sterio is not completely square, so the new radio does not fit. DOes anybody know if.where I can purchase anew dash plate that covers the Radio and AC controls. (#3 in the Dash kit diagram.). Preferably one that will handle the sterio, but I don't mind modifying the part as long as I know I can replace it and not have to purchase the entire kit. Thanks

you need a metra Stock No. 99-7950 dash kit.

Isnt the Metra kit is only for a single din stereo, The stereo I have is a double din. That is why I am looking to get a replacement for the dash part. I know I will have to modify it, but want to be able to put the factory system back in as is when I get rid of the truck in a few years.
