Suv protection if any?

lmfao . trunk latch i have heard that also. how to do tap other alarm siren's into the alarm u were to already have such a piezo's. like if i wanted to put one one the hatch if it was opened trunk etc... here is one u guy's might not of heard of i did this to my last headunit. before you put your hu in take a long piece of metal bend it to fit and bolt it all the way up at the top of your dash so that way even though if they theif get's the dash kit out etc... he won't get the whole hu probably just the face plate .. He'd give up on the hu.

wow bumpin buick i have never heard of that before . that man is really intresting and a very good idea thx for sure for that one man:D. Haha yeah nice bredan have like a certain key on the remote u hit open hatch let's out some nice pitbulls lol.

What about as far as protection for the amps go? anything u guys have seen or done i was thinkn underneath seat but problem bout that is making sure amp's do not get to hot. even if i mounted a piece of mdf below the amp then to the floor would still make me worried would get to hot.

hahaha yeah brendan . then they'd be like why what happened Theif:uhhhhhh ummmm....cause couldn't say truth haha. but any protection for the amp's guys?

Ive always wanted to hide my amps in the side panels of my 4runner but there a bit to big and as far as heat You can buy computer fans if you have an extra batt and hook them to that. Just an idea I dont know what kinda suv your working with and how the back panels are setup .

Mount them on a sheet of MDF, with bolts and loctite, then bolt the sheet to the floor or whatever using loctite. It shouldn't get too hot under the seat. Maybe put some cooling fans to be safe?

Or maybe the amps will act as heating pads for your seat? Multitasking FTW.

and as for doing cooling fan's im not sure how i would do that because my 2nd battery im actually mounting in my engine bay. im taking the washer fluid box turning it other way that way has room for other batt to mount:).

ah, I got a 4runner so I dont know how similar they are but the back panels on mine come off like where the back side windows are. I think it would be pretty cool to install amps there and make it pretty stealthy. I robber could still find them and steal them im sure but it be hard and a pain in the ***

true bumpin buick i never thought of that good idea there i really like that one. but how would i go about running the wire to be stealth and ground also?

run the power along the edge of the carpet like you normally would but instead of having it come out have it co into the back plastic molding there should be a piece that starts right were the back doors comes to a close. Again ints a differnt vehicle then mine but if your able to take off that panel, see how much room you have and im sure you could do something then you could run the speaker wire down the plastic panel and under the carpet. youd have to pull up the carpet for this but cut a whole in the carpet about a 1/4 inch in diameter and pull the speaker wire through it right to the box.

alright man thanks for that one i will really look into that one for sure and see how my panels look also i know one though can't do it though cause my . rear windsheild washer fluid resovoir is in one side:(.
