Alright guy's was just wondering. What the best security percautions with a enclosure in the back of suv . alarm i know getting that and 2 % on back and rear windows but any way to bolt down or anything. i know in my last car dropped gast tank bolted box to the floor panel in the trunk . any other suggestion's at all if any? . Thanks in advance.

haha do have a dog man but he's not no guard dog lol. yeah man was just wondering if there is any other suggestion's out there besides that . anyone?

The only one's i have evaluated so far are these

1.) Bolt down the enclosure

2.) Alarm of course no matter what that's coming first.

3.) 2% on rear back windows and rear

Anything else you guys could suggest to me?

Use high strength loctite on your bolts, it is only removeable with heat. (This may make it difficult for you to remove your system later, but worth it.

Just be careful not to get loctite on your cars paint, or else.

wouldn't if you had to heat up the loctite . couldn't it damage the surround or cone of the sub?
You must remove your subs first before you heat it up. and you only need to heat it to take the bolts out, not to put them on.

EDIT: NVM my idea was stupid. I get why it is stupid now.

Down firing sub box, that way it doesn't seem like there's any subs. Or make a dark screen over the box like HT speakers. Don't go bumping around like a moron, and definitely not close to home.

haha yeah 95 i laugh at my friends when they bump through there neighborhood. i even told em there gonna get jacked one day i don't bump near my neighborhood at all EVER. and oh ok brendan i will keep that in mind anyone else?

all you can really do is try to do the tint and make sure you get a paging alarm and have it installed GOOD. i suggest you read the "how easy is it to get around a 2 way alarm" thread on this forum.

it had a bunch of info on theft deterents. peizo sirens, and pain generators. all that shit.

your main concern though i would say is just being notified that something is going on. a bolted down box is no good, if you sleep through the whole thing. sure itll keep them longer but if they disabled the alarm because the install was iffy, the bolts will only keep them there for a little extra time to do the job.

what if i did the same as i did with my old alarm system i actually tagged in other wires so it made it look like real wiring but was really fake and they were just cuttn random wires.

i think the issue is that you should nto be able to get to the wires at all.

i know undercover punk hid all his shit underneath his center console. i know if i was a thief the last thing i would do is try to pry off a center console trying to find the brain lol.

honestly if they are cutting random wires, its probably not 1 wire at a time. its like "oh shit this wire isnt working, **** it, grab a handfull and cut them all". they wont care to try to save any of your wiring.

disabling the hood latch is something i hear very often, as well as relocating it.

Brillant. Have your real car alarm hidden well. Then have a obvious one that they will try to disarm. Then have it so that it will shock them with 25,000 volts if they cut the wrong wires.

Also get a trunk monkey. LMFAO

Or just put up a sign on your windows that reads:

WARNING!

By entering this vehicle you consent to 25,000 Volts.

Thank you for your co-operation!

There is a guy at exclusive company in Appleton, Wi that builds boxes out of what I beleive to be 1" aluminum then he welds the sides together and grinds them smooth. I looked at a single 15" box and it wieghed roughly 200lbs. with no sub in it. Get some star patterned screws or something and put your sub in that puppy, no one will be able to lift that sucker out and run with it.
