Let's just say that my last semester at my co-op job was an absolute blunder (that's being extremely nice). I work for a DOD contractor, and it took a month to get my computer which you can do nothing without. I never recieved a "true" assignment. I spent nearly the entire summer, save a couple days LITERALLY, surfing the net. It took 2 weeks after my semester was up until I got permanent security clearance badges. Needless to say, they were ill-prepared.
Thinking that things would be better next time, I rolled with it. I start back on Monday (1/8) and had yet to hear anything about where to report (keep in mind that my company has 4 different offices, and I work at NASA which has at least 30 building inside the base). I called this morning in hopes that HR could help me out. Well, they're about as clueless as I am. I talked to the HMFIC in HR and she was supposed to call me back either at home or on my cell when she found out more information. That was 12 hours ago. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif All that tells me is that they are still scewing up somewhere in that corporate ladder. I realize that I could've called sooner, but according to my co-op office, they were supposed to have sent me a packet telling me where to report and anything else I needed to know. Basically, I should have never had to call them. This company is the most mis-managed I've ever worked for. If things don't get better I seriously doubt I'll stay with them after graduation. It's the biggest mess I've ever seen.
