Super sub for a sealed enclosure..

Either driver would work well, as well as numerous others. Personally of the two mentioned I'd probably go with the Brahma because of the lower Le(not that the Le of the XXX is all that high, which it isn't).

I am lookin for a SINGLE sub, I should've been more specific, sorry. The NINE.1 does 1200 @ 1 ohm mono (under rated though) and does 900 @ 2ohms but I'd rather get a sub that can be wired up at 1 ohm.... Thanks for your help so far but keep em coming. 1 single sub that can handle alot of power and sounds GREAT in a sealed enclosure.

What about an Eclipse subwoofer, they are excellent sealed box performers.

You don't haveto run that amp at 1ohm to get good sound, theres plenty of power available at 2ohms mono.

NINe.1 Amplifier Power Ratings

1200 x 1 @ 1 Ohm Mono -Quad coil supersub (Beyond audio inhuman)

900 x 1 @ 2 Ohm Mono -DVC 4ohm supersub (Eclipse titanium)

450 x 1 @ 4 Ohm Mono -Single 4ohm high performance sub (Alpine type R)

Don't the Brahma's only handle like 600 rms each?? I don't want to have to worry about my gains on the sub I get, you know??

Nope. People put way more than 600 on them.....either the XXX or Brahma would work very well, as would the Avalanche and IDMAX suggested. Denim mentioned getting a nice price on the IDMAX, so you might want to contact him about them.

Am I overlookin the IDMAX price post? Where is it?

IDMax a pretty good woofer? I am not the most educated person when it comes to car audio but I haven't heard of them that much (that doesn't make it a bad woofer but I was just wondering)
