no limit motorsport is a tuning shop lol.

not car audio.

if you need performance parts then def got there.

only talk to adam, he is awesome.

sub- just saw that pic. im not gana do anything in the bed.

and yea i just checked there site lol.

but this truck allready has 130k miles on it so im not gana do anything for performance. i just want something thats loud haha.

again. NO idea wat ur talkin aboot.
lol k.

easy.

you got the block, the heads, and the headers.

heads contain intake/exhaust valves.

if you were to run open heads, then it would be just the block, no headers or muffler.

headers take each pistons exhaust valve into a pipe and bring it all to 1 pipe.

which is usually followed by catalytic converter, then a resonator, than a muffler.

or better.

here is a video.

this guy has an electronic exhaust cut out, which allows you to run either open headers, or through the muffler.

you will here the difference and just how loud it is.

in this case it is open down pipe cause of the turbo.

yea i realize they can get loud but im saying that if im not using a system just for bass than theres no point in me getting such a big sub.
subzero- just clarifying. i have NO idea what your talking about lol
Edit: I am not talking about putting it in the bed. this can be build to go behind your seats. and stop just below the window line...

hope this helps explain my vision of the box internally...

these sound very nice.

edit: heres one I found in my photobucket.. i would do something like these

I would stick with 2-10s sealed if I were you. I've done about a dozen different setups in mine before I went with the blowthrough....not a whole lot of room in there.

That will NEVER fit into a reg cab ranger.

Yea I say either find some sundown e8's(a they are cheap about 60 or so used) or go for the mack daddys DD 1508(they run about 150 or so each new). Man that thing would sound great and have a ton of kick.

ok so i am the epitome of a noob when it comes to audio. im looking to get 2 15's amp and tweeter. 1. not sure of the best company's. ive looked online and i see people swear by jl or alpine. 2. not sure how many watt amp i should get. this is going into a single row pick up truck. my idea was to put the subs under the seats, amp behind drivers seat and tweeter's in the doors. im positive im going to get negative feedback for being such a noob so bring it on.
Unless you want the back seats taken out i wouldnt..i would just put the box in the seats..not sure how much money you have to spend but my friend has a truck and he has an HDC315 just one of them in a custom box hooked up to an AQ1200D amp. all coming from http://www.audioque.com. it is VERY loud..not as loud as mine..but its close.

i only have 1 row of seats. thats basically my biggest problem. all i have to work with is the wall behind my seats.

you can also consider this, if this is your first system you can try something out and always change it. The suggestions that have been given are pretty good ones. ive heard some amzong bass come out of some 8s. Mostly the diffrence between diffrent sized woofers is the amount of air there able to push which will give you either better mids to highs or mids to lows. but then again if you have a really powerful sub it can change.

If your wanting to blow your friends away with your music are you looking for more of clarity or loudness?
