Can I use 14awg for a Gcon sub. 14 is all I have. Its made for speakers, I bought it a year ago from an audio shop
umm how much power are you giving it? Regardless 14 is wayy to small i would never consider that for any amount of power. I mean **** go down to walmart and get the 8 gauge at least for like $20 lolCan I use 14awg for a Gcon sub. 14 is all I have. Its made for speakers, I bought it a year ago from an audio shop
Not that easy my man. I go to school 40hrs a week and get 200 a week for unemployment. I am not in a situation that I can just drive 35minutes to the city and buy a spool of 10g wire. Its bad enough I took money from my phone bill to pay for the difference for this amp.Just break down and go buy some bigger wire!!!
1 ohm about 1000w, about 3 feet total length of wire.how much power are you running and how far is the amp from the sub
edit and what ohm load
in that case, assuming the woofer is dual 2, i would do two runs of 14awg to each coilNot that easy my man. I go to school 40hrs a week and get 200 a week for unemployment.
