Sup everyone Need some help

So I just bought the latest Panasonic with the ipod adapter. Everything works fine I love it. today I found out there is no sound from my ipod when I plug it in. the song plays but I hear nothing.. any help?

Yeah it's white. not sure of the brand but im pretty sure its the panasonic converter or w/e the name is. I just get no sound. I heard something about not playing protected music. So I guess music from Itunes may not work?
