thought i was too until i took the back seats out and lost a LOT of weight...

I now have the capacity to run heavier subs now.

I am still gonna be running 4 15s, i can run 15s that weigh up to 35lbs a piece as per my opinion.

Hard call, not really heard any bad things about the DCs, very good sounding subs from what ive seen, and heard. The Sundowns are pretty badass too, I was using the SDv1 12s in my car for a while and they were suprising loud for a budget sub, cant imagine what a higher end sub from them would sound like.

Flip a coin, both are great products with excellent customer service. Honestly, cant go wrong with either.

sounds cool. I've never really heard much customer service thru DC i guess cuz not many are being damaged...

That's what i figured, flip a coin. Well alright, that's basically it then. Both pertain to my install just right so either one should be a winner.

I take that back, if I had to make a choice, it be the DCs only because they have been around longer and established themselves as some solid subs. The Sundown Z15s are really nice, but still new subs to the market.

I'm about to start building the wall anytime now, just gotta go pick up all my sheets.

I just got an offer to get 4 SSA ICONS for a lot cheaper than the DCs or Z15s...

I know the ICONS are not really in the same class as these 2 subs but... i have seen their "SPL potential" at very very low frequency ranges, breaking 140db under 30hz with just a pair of 10s.

Now, i cant really use that as a comparison to what they can do in the 60hz range which is my peak... but, i might end up trying these instead just because of a deal that i may not want to pass up...

all depends on the box and a lot of testing etc

i'd get the DC's though but thats just me..

I WILL be going with 4 15" ICONs and 2 AQ3500ds in M3\DB3 capable. It should be up and running in about a month from now.

I would, again, definitely love to get the DCs but i am a magnet when it comes to savin money.

good choice eitherway they'll get the job done and you'll be satisfied for sure
