Sundown Saz4500d Question

My question is...... how do these amps due on higher voltage i see that the say they can take up to 18.5volts max!

Now that's fine i am running 16v batteries and dual 16v alts.... so my charging voltage of when i am running sits between 17.3 and 17.8 volts

Running these daily how will these amps handle it? more then likely will be strapped at 2 ohms so 1 ohm per amp with plenty of juice..

Any one running them daily with higher voltage ?

run them at .5 each if you want to get the real power and i have seen sundown amp running at 19.5 volts

Should handle it just fine. I know Jacob doesn't put out amps that can't handle abuse(low ohm loads, low/high voltages). You'll be getting a shit ton of power out of those two amps, what's your setup going to consist of? How about electrical upgrades?

well its in a astro walled off 4 DD 9518g subs in a 6th order bandpass.... i got 8 d1000 batts and 2 16v 250 amp mech man alts 8 runs of 1/0 front to back i had to xxv maxximus amps but didnt like higher voltage..... same thing with the DD z-se i had had a voltage protection circiut that kicked them out at 16.3 volts and higher ...
