Sundown SAZ-3000ds at 1 ohm strapped or .5 ohms each?

Electrical will consist of 3 Northstar NSB125s for the 2 SAZ 3000s. Which way would you do it if you had the choice? I have 2 dual 1 ohm HDC3 15"s so my options are 1 ohm, 4 ohm, or .25 ohm strapped or .5 or 2 ohms per amp individually.

I know this.... I will probably be upgrading shortly. Any suggestions for a sub that can handle these? Upgraded nightshades?

i am using 1 each saz 3000 @ .5 ohm on 1 each dd9515G

there is more than enough power in 1 each saz 3000 to push my dd 9515g to it mechanical limits

so you should be okay but be very careful

easy on your gains & volume knob

If you can keep your electrical above 12v id go with .5 each off a maxxlink for gain matching.

Hopefully those NSBs will keep up with the demand. 360 lbs of battery better be able to deliver some juice. How would I benefit with the Maxxlink VS. just gain matching with a DMM? I am not real familiar with it.

Maxxlink will control the amps after you gain match them with a DMM, IE Bass Knob/line driver and many other options

for the $125 the maxlink is nice

and can match up to 5 amps

i am using my gain set at about 25% on my sazx 3000 on 1 each 15" @ .5 ohm

no issues

I would not highly suggest using a 3000D @ 1/2 ohm on them daily, although, it has been done successfully .

I generally suggest 1 ohm for daily... but, again, if you err on the side of caution you can do it.

I'm sure you will. I'll be demoing for everybody. This will be my biggest system to if it all goes through.
