Will this amp accept 4 gauge knukonceptz Kolossus Fleks 4 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit I just bought this amp kit and alrdy have wires ran and all and am needing a amp to do 1.5 ohm load for 2 jbl gti subs. I know the amp should be powerful enough but will the 4 gauge be big enough because i was looking into a massive audio p1500.1 and it accepts 4 gauge vs this amp accepting 0 gauge.

better safe than sorry use 1/0
ive got a bunch im selling if you need some
i don have the money to buy 0 gauge and dont want to i just bought 4 gauge ampt kit from knukonceptz last week Now why would this amp not work for 4 gauge when other amps rating the same power accept 4 gauge? Plz explain this to me.

Also you won't be pushing it as hard at 1.5ohm and the KNU kit is equivalent to 3gauge as I just used one the other week. You should be fine...
Aren't you drawing the same amount of amperage regardless of impedance if you run an amp at the highest rms wattage rating for the corresponding impedance?

Like for example an amp rated at:

800 watts @ 2 ohm

and

1200 watts @ 1 ohm

It's still drawing the same current from the battery at each impedance right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm unclear about it.

Is this the only amp you're running?
yes if i purchase the amp it will be the only amp i am running. I have not decided to buy it yet because i want to make sure it will fit my application i will be running 2 12" jbl gti subs there dual 6ohm voice coils so running 2 of them will give me a 1.5 ohm load which i have no idea how much the map will put out to the subs on 1.5 ohms. the crappy part of this all is i am using a line out converter on my stock hu trying to save up for a kenwood dnx8120 but there expensive. but right now i have a sealed box with 1 gti on a zapco 2.0 which will put me at 300rms on 3 ohms. i have a mp3 player which has a eq on it so i can make the highs and mids sound better but there way to loud over powering my bass no way to turn them down either. thats why i need a bigger amp and was looking into the sundown amps cause i heard there so good.
