Sundown SA-12D4 Aeroport and question about sliding rails

Will a 4" diameter aeroport such as this one:

Amazon.com: Precision Port 4 Inch Flared Port Tube Kit: Electronics

be ok to use with a SA-12D4 on 750w?

On a completely different note, does anyone know if I could mount a subwoofer box with server rails given that they can handle the weight?

Bonus question of the day:

If you install "pro audio" mids with paper cones in your doors, how do you keep them from getting wet when it rains?

A single 4" aero would probably be enough but (2) 3" aeros would be better. If its in the trunk then go with the 4" but if its in the cabin (truck or hatchback) then I would go with the (2) 3" just to prevent any possibility of port noise.

A single 4" port would be ok for that setup. Some will suggest larger ports but with the length required for tuning you will more then likely not have the room for anything larger.

It would be in a Toyota Matrix so it would be in the trunk/cabin area. I was looking into 6" ports but to tune my box to 35hz, it would need to be something like 27" long. Two 3" ports is a more manageable length but its pretty expensive to buy four of them (I am split chambering the box). If I didn't split chamber the box I could use one 6"... that would probably be the best idea, no?

On a side note....(OP sorry for the jack....)
What size precision port did you finally go with the JL box? (IIRC....a 3"?)

It will be on a brown truck tomorrow for you.
