I actually did some messing around of my own on winisd and came up with box dimensions of: 8.5 for depth 14.5 height and 34.5 wide but that just doesn't seem right to me. i'm more curious on what size box I should get then anything else. all help appreciated! I made another thread about custom boxes in the subwoofer section i'm going to see if I can delete it I didn't see a specified enclosure section.

Did it work out good for you Basswiigee? And it will be ran off a soundstream rub 1600d at 2 ohms to get the 1,100 watts. It will be off stock electrical for now until I add a new battery later on. It is I guess you could say more then needed but SA's are known for being able to take double their rated power daily and not have problems.

Mines actually in my fiancés 2008 Nissan murano, 2.2 cu ft tuned to 35hz on a lanzar Optidrive 100.2 (old zed amp) and its really nice. Nice and clean.
Think 2 cubes @ 1,100 watts would be to big or to small?

Id honestly look into a lower tuning.. my buddy had one of these in a 32hz box, tried it in a 35hz box and didn't like the change so decided to try a lower tuning. We built a 28hz box and he wouldn't consider either of the other boxes an option after. Hes running the 15's, 4 cubes per sub and its killer.

2 cubes should be fine, but you will get better low end if you can go any bigger. Definitely wouldn't go smaller.

Throughout more looking around i'm hearing that for me putting 1,100 watts to a single SA I should aim towards a smaller box to put more power, would you guys recommend that? like 1.75 cubes? or stick with 2.0
