Sundown Remote

Well I wired up the Remote that came with my Sundown 1000d in my most recent rewiring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but I wasn't sure exactly what it does and so far Ive asked a few people but they don't know either (yes I could check with a dmm but I haven't yet)

What Ive gathered so far is its a potentiometer and it adjusts between 0 and whatever dB you set your Bass Boost at

If I turn the bass boost up while I already have my gains set does it increase the power going to the subs or just mess with the frequencies the sub is getting, like narrow them.

Sundown is very bleak as to what it does in the manual //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and I don't want to blow my subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It's remote gain adjustment. Asked the same question for the same amp in another forum and Jacob responded personally that it adjusts gain.

I emailed Jacob to make sure and here is his response

At maximum the knob has the gain at where it is set on the amp, and it only cuts from there.
I read pretty much all the e-mails =)
