Sundown or RE

I'm having trouble deciding between the RE SE, or the sundown sd2. I'm looking for good sound quality, but still want it to get loud. What do you guys recommend?

Well, you can't buy sundown, you'll be like all the rest of the nuthuggers....but RE sucks now so you're gonna end up buying a chinawoofa no matter wut wut.

Well what would you reccomend. Ive been out of the car audio game for a while so I don't really know what's good anymore. My budget is 150-200 per sub.

Actually some American Bass XFL's are fairly cheap and get loud. Alot of my crew runs them and does decent numbers on the mic. Just sayn'

For the main argument, Sundown over RE. People hate Sundown because other people like Sundown, and have no other reason beyond that. RE on the other hand, hasn't made a good product in many years now.

But if you want affordable sound quality, I think that Epic is a much better choice.

Obsidian Audio's subs are supposed to be pretty nice for the price.

btw most subs and parts are made in China, not a big deal as long as the buildhouse have good quality control. Quite a few Sundown products are made in China.

Basically if you go with every brand but SSA and FI there all Chinese woofers lol but I love sundown audio it sounds good and can get loud off low power!

Even fi and ssa used some china made parts but they are mostly made and built in USA.
