Sundown Nightshade V3 beast mode!

On pre order but after that Jacob said $180
Supposedly the only 8" sub close to the sa8v2 in size and strength is the W7 8. Go price one of those from a dealer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif I agree $180 is high for an 8" sub..but look at DD ect.. 1508s aren't much cheaper new.

You can build 8's that are better though...

I see monster custom 8s on the forums built with giant motors that will take a good amount of power.. but still haven't seen anyone post up huge numbers or anything using the custom jobs. Not that it means a lot.. but looking big and performing are different. By the time you buy a decent motor and have it built up you would have $200 in it anyway.

I don't know why you guys hug the 8" subs so much... 10" subs require .3 cubes more airspace, and can have 3" coils... soooooo it's not a feat of engineering to have a 1500w rms 10" sub, while a 1500w rms 8" sub costs you a pretty penny. Aesthetically speaking, 10's are some of the best looking subs, too.
