Yes it does however when it comes to the customer service and readily available parts factory parts and if and when you want to add another can one be bought easily..Those are all important..

i wont blow it on 1800watts. i wont be buying another.

Unfortunately this forum currently has a sundown boner. Let's not forget the xxx is a great sub. I can't say if the nightshade is better, but I can say the xxx doesn't disappoint.

people have ran 2500watts to the XXX daily. The XXX is proven to be a overall good quality sub and sound very good. nightshade iuno i dont see many people running them or atleast see posts about them. but im sure there a great sub as well just more spl oriented. And for daily im sure you want some sound quality and them lows which is why i pick the XXX. not saying the sundown is a shitty sub im sure its amazing just my opinion I also own a 12'' REXXX and listened to it so I know it sounds amazing

the xxx is a sound quality sub the Nightshade is a spl sub but in my experience with it sounds **** good tuned low and on music..you are just gonna have to decide and grab one up they are both excellent but anything is possible never say never..

I have heard both and really not much difference in the sq part especially at higher power and volume..OP buy both and let us know what you think..

I agree get both I havnt herd a sundown so cant say much about them just that i know there more spl oriented so I'm going by that. But I agree buy both than sell one you dont like lol

Steve, you can't possibly give an opinion between the 2 of them, you have admitidly never used a Nightshade.

I have, I have also used a old XXX and new XXX, The nightshade is a slightly different beast, the XXX is a little more SQ, however the Nightshade is no slouch either, no where near the "fartbox" sounding sub in your typical system. they can sound very nice in a 32-35hz box, and get stupid loud doing it.

Either way the OP will be happy, I have no doubt about that. But if he want to get loud and sound good doing it, I personally would go with the NS.

OP there is a reason I am a Sundown dealer, the service is top notch, and the products are just as good. I have been a dealer for car audio from the early 90's and I have never had a manufacture that deals with me the dealer and you the consumer the way Sundown does.

It really doesn't matter what you get, you will be happy, you have picked 2 awesome subs, and there ar many more you could add to the list. You asked for opinions, you got them, steve wants the XXX and others seem to suggest the SD. Shat are you going to do?
