Those are not mid bass drivers. They are PA mid ranges. They play 4000 hz better then 60 hz.

A true mid bass is designed to play 60-300 very strong with high excursion, almost sub like. You can feel them in the seats.

I have had them playing at 70hz and they performed just fine with my horns. I have played them with the subs off and they still fill in excellent. I am assuming you have never played with these drivers.

I'm sure they do. They can play lower then most PAs but its not a mid bass. A component set can play that low but its not a mid bass. There is a difference.

Well they are wrong. Mid bass is still bass. My point is they are not mid bass drivers, they are very good mid range PA speakers.

To each their own I guess, this is a subject that should be discussed on DIYMA. With that being said, need some mid-range drivers??

Ya def PA midranges.....regardless they're still quality drivers that will do midbass duty pretty well in a typical 2 way door setup...they'll also get nasty in the mid range freqs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. just by definition they aren't mid basses.

either way, good stuff, good price, sure the buyer will enjoy.
