I have a Sundown 3000D I need to sell to pay for college. Its in excellent shape and it works great. I might even be able to get some a pic or two. Anyway I'm looking for $645 shipped, insured and Paypal fees included for this awesome amp. No trades and I'm not interested in moving the price as this is extremely cheap.

stupid question.but, my new buddy joe has me talked into switching my JL shit to sundown...blah blah.im gonna do it,but im curious how this amp would do with a 12w7? 3 ohms,i know ur going to say between 800-1600 rms on the amp,but how does it compare to the 1000/1?

Whether it would outperform your JL or not, I have no idea (@ 3 ohms). I've never compared the 2 amps because there is no comparison. Anything over 4 ohms and the Sundown should make more power, possibly even @ 4 ohms. You simply can't go wrong with a Sundown. That JL is a nice amp. If it was me, I'd run the Sundown because if I ever wanted to change subs I'd have an amp with a lot of head room.
