sundown 3000d what will 4 do at .5

Well not hat I have 4 on the way, but I do have one coming and I would actually like to know the same thing. So as far as I am concerned, it is a great question. What are they doing in the real world at 0.5?
thats that was my point with 2 ab 500.1s i could do 154.4db at .5 ohms i think the 3000d will be more power hoping to do 153 bassrace and a 156db burp

Direct from the Sundown forum on SSA...

"Thanks to Sean we did some power testing on the SAZ-3000D yesterday. Power testing was done on two RE MT 15" woofers, dual 1 ohm coils (0.7 ohm DCR) with a rise to around 0.87 ohms at our test frequency.

Power Output at Maximum Volume before Protection:

67.4 volts

77.1 amps

5196 watts

Power supply voltage was 16.5 volts at rest dropping to around 14.5 volts. So consider this a 14.5 volt output rating.

Our clamp meter ran out of steam at 400 amps so we measured efficiency at lower levels:

3294 watts @ 84% efficiency (252 amps draw)

3938 watts @ 81% efficiency (316 amps draw)

4424 watts @ 74% efficiency (392 amps draw)"

It depends on your impedance rise and voltage drop, it's a difficult question to answer. It's safe to say 3200-3400+ watts "real world" with the amps assuming voltage drop into the 11s and, obviously, more than that with less voltage drop.
