just bought from blinkdogo a week ago, used for 3 days, dont have a big enough amp to push it. fresh recone from whoever blinkdogo bought it from, blikdogo did not use it for the same reason i am selling it, but he just didnt have an amp at all

local-ish would be nice to avoid shipping

$415 local

$450 shipped

$435 with box (only local-ish) unless you want to pay for shipping

the box is like 5.25 cubic feet tuned to 32hz.

so to answer both of your questions, i honestly couldnt tell you if it can handle that much power because i havent personally tried it, the sundown guy on here told me about people running the 3000D to it regularly with no problems so i mean thats up to you to try, personally i wouldnt feed it anymore than 1500 unless i had the 3000D sundown amp but thats just me....

Tht makes absolutely no sense... You wouldnt give the sub anymore than 1500 watts unless u were using an amp that does 3k+ watts?????

Why not just use a different amp that does like 2k-3k?? Like RF 2000.1/3000.1, Orion 2500D, ZX2500.1, etc.

not that hard... i wouldnt put more than 1500 to it coming from any other brand amp than the sundown. more than likely sundown designed there amps around there subs. putting more power to it then recommended by an amp other than sundown i guess is just a personnel thing, i wouldnt do it

The amps are specifically designed for the sub, more like the power range is designed for the sub. There isn't sum hidden relationship between the subwoofer and electronics on the amp.

Any decent amp in that power range would work just fine.

im not arguing that any amp in that range wouldnt do just fine. i've always been the scared one when it comes to my subs frying, the longer i am without bump the more out i am to go spend money i shouldnt, resulting in me having a nightshade 18 that i dont have a big enough amp for, knowing i wouldnt have one for a while but still bought it anyway
