Sundown 1500d on a single ported SI BM 12

Will this amp be too much for the sub with a 2ohm load (sub is dvc 4ohm)? I had planned on keeping the gains down to a bare minimum, but I worry I should pull the sub out and just run one vc for a 4ohm load?

2ohm will be fine & never ever run only one set of terminals on a dual vc sub.
