The JL Audio also has class AB efficiency when it comes to current draw. Of course, efficiency was not JL's design with the 500/1 and 1000/1. In order to get the same power from 1.5 to 4 ohms, versatility was more important than efficiency.this is true to an extent.. the jl does power at 1.5-4
Well, not really to big of a concern. Out of all the amps I have ever had I have yet to have a problem out of any of them, knock on wood.In that case is warranty a concern ? You can get a new v.2 SAE-1200D at a pretty good price with 2-year warranty.
