Ohms lawYou have to be kidding me if you believe an amplifier is an ohmic device. Remember I am studying EE, have studied FETs, you are studying business or IT or some other easy crap like that. FETs are not ohmic, therefore things built around them are also not ohmic. Best explanation is that amps are more efficient at higher ohm ratings thus turning more of their input power into output power.
Power = Voltage x Current
Unless you have a regulated amp: As the relationship for the current and voltage changes, IE impedence, power will change.
