Summer job

with the great weather we had here today it got me thinking, summer is coming around, whats everybody doing for a job this summer?

Myself I have an internship in the KC area, theyre paying me 12.50 an hour and i get some college credit too. 40hr a week 9-5 in an airconditioned building, i can live with that.

Wage labor for the university. Construction, demolition, heavy equipment, crane, dumping, jackhammer, office moving, supply delivery, and about anything else dished on. No complaints, not everyone can do the work but it certainly gives your body a workout by the end of the day!

im gonna keep the same job i have now. delivering at a pizzaria may not be prestigious but the flexibility of hours is awsome and it allows me enough time for college. besides.......where else are you gonna make 25 bux an hour off the books with practically no responsibilities?

I got hired on by the university theatre company as a carpenter in the scene shop. It's long hours and you don't make a ton of money, but it is my dream job even if this is only a summer gig for now.

swim coach i teach little kids how to swim fast. or more or less baby sit little kids dictate what they are to swim and make sure they dont drown while doing what i say. i am also still looking for another job to pay for the new alpine unit 310 that comes out next month and to afford for my trip to cancun with my girlfriend

Going to be a garbage man. WooHoo. I've always dreamed of being a garbage man. I'm being serious too. I'll be getting $20 an hour too. 5 days a week 8 hours each day. ****, i'm going to be rich after the summer lol. That makes me happy. It better then working in a fast food joint.

Taking 6 hours of class at a local college and working 45 hrs a week maintenance at a local golf course, this will be my fourth year...
