Suitable amp for Kicker Solo 12" L7s? (Over or under 750 RMS?)

I am looking around and it appears that I can find a lot of amps that are either 700 or 800 Watts, but none right at 750 RMS that the subs are rated at. Would it be most advisable to go a little over or under?

I've read a few threads where someone will put 1,000 Watts into the L7s like I just bought, and I was curious as to whether or not that would be detrimental in the long run to the subs.

Also, and this is a long shot, if anybody knows any car audio places in the Twin Cities area.. I've just moved here and can't find jack in the phone books.

Thanks for the link.. I just couldn't find anything in the phone books and yahoo yellow pages is crapola.

Would an eD nine.1 work well with these subs then?

1200 W @ 1 ohm.. if i hooked them up in parallel? with the subs being 2 ohm that is.

I'm looking to spend up to $500 on the amp.

Cool.. although I found out today they're the 4 ohm model.. so there's no way for me to hook up a 1 ohm amp, is there?

Would yall recommend spending the extra cash to buy an amp at a retail store, or get it elsewhere? I mean, the extra cost is pretty significant. $350 online.. or $800 in a store.

I know two people that already have self-installed setups, that both said they would hook me up.. and part of the reason I was considering buying an amp in a store would be to get them to install it for me. Bad reasoning?

I always suggest buying dealer, in case you ever have issues....

get the eD.NINe.1 It'll put out way more then 1200
