Hi guys, first time post here. Hopefully this is in the right spot.
I have a 1998 Honda CRV and was looking to add some speakers/subs/amp. I had a setup questions, or more an opinion.
The 3 different ways I could go with my setup is as follows ...
1) Head unit, 4 new speakers, 1 amp
2) Head unit, 4 new speakers, 1 amp, 2 boxed enclosed subs
3) Head unit, 2 new speakers, 2, 6.5" subs in the rear doors
Now my question is which is better?
I mean, I really want subs in my vehicle, but the CRV is a small SUV. I need the use of cargo room, I play hockey and need room for all my equipment and I also fish and do other stuff that would limit my space.
Would it be terrible to put 2 subs in the rear door panels and then dynamat the doors?
Would I be loosing quality by running 2 speakers up front and 2 subs in the back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
