Suggestions on Back up Battery 10,000 watts!

Sorry, that was just to get as many of you bass heads here as possible. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif Any who, I've had my old system laying around for over two years now, and would like to have it installed in my Escalade. It was previously in a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I ran the ZX2500.1 on (8)10 inch Kicker CRV 4ohm subs. 0 gauge power and ground. Stock amp/stock battery with a Kinetik hc800.

That being said, lights never dimmed, but amp would get overly warm if I played the system full blast for say 2-3 hours while driving. The battery (hc800) ended up crapping out. It literally had swollen up like a basketball before I disconnected the system. I did end up hitting like a 153.3db with that set-up in the jeep.

My question is, with same amp & subs, stock escalade battery, stock alternator, 0gauge power/ground, which Kinetik battery should I use this time? Would the HC2400 be over kill?

Make more sense to upgrade alternator, and run with maybe the HC1400 OR HC1800?

I think the guy who installed the subs and did the wiring has them running as close to 1ohm as possible, but not 100%.

I plan to have it reinstalled Friday of this week. I went with a pioneer AVH-X3600bhs head unit which is definitely a step up from the old Phase Linear in the Jeep LOL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Do you have the Big 3 done on your vehicle? And with that much power a decent sized second battery would help out. But you need to keep it charged.

And if don't think that kicker amp would put out 10,000 watts.

The last big 3 I done was to a 2012 Yamaha Raptor lol, so I'm lost on that. I would be using the Kinetik as a back up battery, same as I did in my Jeep. Only problem was that was too small of a back-up being only a HC800. Minus 0gauge wiring, everything was stock. Amp and battery under hood was stock.

Here's my suggestion - do your big 3 and get as big of a battery up front as you can fit

Yes, Thanks Jason, it was wired that way before, so I'd imagine (or shall I say request), that it be wired that away again.

However, No one has commented or suggested my MAIN question. With those ok subs, decent amp (zx2500.1) Big 3, etc etc.....

WHICH KINETIK BATTERY???? I AM STILL USING MY REGULAR BATTERY UNDER HOOD. THE KINETIK WILL BE IN BACK BY AMP. IT PREVIOUSLY FRIED A KINETIK HC800 BUT TOOK ABOUT 3 YEARS TO FRY IT..... SO QUESTION IS.... WHICH KINETIK BATTERY NOW???

Put biggest one you can fit under the hood then if you still want another one in the back buy whichever one fits your budget
